Luxury Resort Planned for Bambolim, North Goa
Chalet Hotels acquired beachfront land in Bambolim, North Goa, with potential to develop a 170-room luxury resort. Bambolim is a locality in North Goa District known for its scenic beauty, located near the state capital Panaji—approximately 7 km south of the city.
Part of the ATHIVA Brand Rollout
The Bambolim resort will operate under Chalet Hotels' new premium lifestyle hospitality brand, ATHIVA Hotels & Resorts, debuting with more than 900 keys across six properties. The company has three greenfield projects planned, with two seafront properties in Goa operating as ATHIVA Resort and Spa and one convention centre in Thiruvananthapuram.
ATHIVA, derived from Sanskrit meaning abundance and to a great extent, reflects the brand's focus on joy, wellness, and sustainability. The brand is designed with a millennial and Gen Z mindset, focused on wellness and sustainability.

Expansion in Goa
Chalet Hotels' development pipeline includes a resort of approximately 170 keys at Bambolim, Goa. The company's priority is to fast-track the Goa properties at Bambolim and Varca as part of its broader expansion strategy in the state.
Bambolim is home to the Goa Medical College, one of the oldest medical colleges in Asia, and Bambolim Beach, a popular spot for locals and tourists. While Bambolim was historically a quiet fishing village, it has gained prominence due to the presence of ultra-luxury resorts and has managed to retain its rustic, old-world Goan charm.
