Chalet Hotels Rebrands Faridabad Resort Under Marriott Upgrade
Chalet Hotels, a part of the K Raheja Corp group, has finalized the acquisition of Courtyard by Marriott Aravali Resort for INR 315 crore. The property, renamed Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa, has now been repositioned under Marriott's flagship brand rather than its entry-level Courtyard tier.
Property Scale and Setting
This 158-room property sprawls across eight acres in Gothda Mohbtabad, Faridabad, set amid the scenic Aravali Hills of Haryana. Just a short drive from the buzz of the capital and close to attractions like Surajkund Lake, this peaceful resort features a range of elegant, spacious and pet-friendly rooms with stunning views.
Facilities and Amenities
The resort features an outdoor two-tier swimming pool, the largest in Delhi NCR. The property houses three restaurants serving Asian cuisine, while the poolside bar offers refreshing cocktails for unwinding after a day of exploration. A holistic spa specializes in soothing treatments for body and mind.
Recreational and event facilities include the Aravali Lawns located adjacent to the Grand Sapphire ballroom, offering an integrated indoor and outdoor setting for fairytale weddings and memorable meetings.
Chalet Hotels' Expansion Strategy
Chalet Hotels Limited, part of K Raheja Corp, operates 11 operating hotels and resorts with 3,389 keys across globally recognized hospitality brands including JW Marriott, The Westin and Novotel. The company has approximately 1,200 rooms under development.
The company's plan to expand their offerings by about 800 rooms is backed by a INR 2,000 crore investment earmarked as current capital work-in-progress. Chalet Hotels manages a range of properties including JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, and Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, among others.
Previous Ownership and Launch
Previously owned by the family of RC Juneja, co-founder and chairman of Mankind Pharma, through Ayushi and Poonam Estates LLP, the resort commenced operations in July 2022.
