Chalet Hotels Completes Full Ownership of Bambolim Beachfront Land
Chalet Hotels Limited announced September 7, 2026, the successful completion of its acquisition of Lakeview Mercantile Company Private Limited. The transaction involved the execution of a Share Purchase Agreement, resulting in Chalet Hotels acquiring 100% of the Equity Share Capital of Lakeview Mercantile Company Private Limited.
Land Parcel and Development Scope
The acquired entity, Lakeview Mercantile Company Private Limited, is the owner of a prime land parcel located in Bambolim, Goa. The company's board also approved entering into a binding term sheet for the acquisition of Lakeview Mercantile Company Private Limited, which owns over 15 acres of beachfront land in Bambolim, North Goa. This land comes with the potential to develop a 170-room luxury resort.
The company will acquire Lakeview for a total consideration of Rs 136.9 crore.
