On July 29, 2026, Chalet Hotels' board of directors approved its unaudited financial results for Q1 FY27 and recommended appointing Deloitte Haskins & Sells Chartered Accountants LLP as statutory auditors for five years, subject to shareholder approval.
Transition from Prior Auditor
The previous statutory auditor, B S R & Co. LLP, had conducted a limited review of the accounts for the quarter. The recommendation of Deloitte Haskins & Sells marks a shift in the company's audit representation following its Q1 results announcement.
Q1 FY27 Financial Performance
Chalet Hotels reported a 15% year-on-year increase in core EBITDA (excluding residential real estate) to ₹2,400 million for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, though consolidated net profit fell 58% to ₹861 million due to the absence of significant residential sales from the prior year's benchmark.
The hospitality segment contributed ₹4,185 million in revenue, up 9% year-on-year, with EBITDA rising 11% to ₹1,784 million. Total income from non-residential segments rose 10% to ₹5,140 million, with EBITDA margins expanding by 231 basis points to 46.7%.
